Planning Engineer c£45,000 Benefits Glasgow MC Technical Recruitment are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Planning Engineer to join the engineering team of an Energy from Waste facility in Glasgow. Our client is a leader in sustainable waste management and renewable energy production, offering the opportunity to work in a modern, high-performing ERF Plant. Reporting to the Engineering & Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for: Planning and scheduling all site planned/unplanned maintenance and project activities in line with the Work Management Procedure Leading daily and weekly planning meetings and issuing the updated maintenance plan Monitoring and managing work orders, preventative maintenance tasks, and backlog in the CMMS Supporting outage planning, including creation of outage plans, critical path monitoring, and meeting coordination Acting as the site CMMS Superuser, preparing and presenting KPI data reports Supervising the Stores Function, ensuring critical spares and inventory levels are maintained Providing cover for the Stock Controller and supporting contractors as required Conducting site safety inspections and contributing to continuous improvement of plant performance To be considered for this position, you should have: Experience in a planning or scheduling role within a process industry or power plant Strong working knowledge of CMMS and planning tools (MS Project / Primavera P6) HNC/HND (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to work to tight schedules with minimal supervision Understanding of maintenance planning, spare materials management, and asset management tools This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking renewable energy business.
