Role & Responsibilities
1. Lead and run large-scale projects (c. £20m+) from inception to completion
2. Manage multiple on-site projects simultaneously, delegating effectively to junior team members
3. Write full specifications and develop detailed technical design solutions
4. Manage and coordinate the design team and associated consultants
5. Take responsibility for project delivery, ensuring compliance with legal and statutory requirements
6. Lead client engagement, presentations and ongoing relationship management
7. Oversee project finances including fees, invoicing and profitability
8. Mentor junior staff and contribute to knowledge sharing across the practice
9. Support the regional director in winning new work and growing client account
Required Skills & Experience
10. Proven track record running complex projects from design to delivery
11. Strong technical expertise with Revit and BIM workflows
12. Ability to produce and manage detailed specifications and technical packages
13. Experience coordinating consultants and managing small project teams
14. Knowledge of MMC solutions, net zero carbon design and sustainable approaches
15. Understanding of refurbishment, repair, reuse and deconstruction strategies
16. Ability to manage workload across multiple projects and meet deadlines
17. Excellent communication skills, able to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
18. Knowledge of Dynamo scripting, NBS Chorus and education sector experience (desirable)
19. Experience managing remote outsourced delivery partners (desirable)
