MSK Physiotherapist - HMP Grendon & HMP Springhill

This role is part time working of 12 hours a month at HMP Grendon and 12 hours a week at HMP Springhill, both based in Buckinghamshire.
You will be responsible for assessing and treating a range of MSK pathologies with some complex and/or chronic presentations. You will need to demonstrate advanced MSK diagnostic and treatment skills, be able to work within the MDT and maintain records as an autonomous practitioner.

You will also form part of the wider MSK Health in Justice Team comprising of physiotherapists and podiatrists in immigration centres and prisons across the country.

You will be closely supported and mentored by our Clinical Lead, and this combined with our well-developed appraisal system, in-service training and funding for external clinical courses, you will be provided with an excellent supportive learning environment to continue your professional development.
With proven post-registration experience of assessing and treating MSK conditions in an outpatient setting you must have excellent communication and organisational skills and be willing to learn and develop.

Inspire excellence in your colleagues by being pro-active in the managementof MSK conditions and motivating the wider team to identify patients presentingwith red flag symptoms. You will forgestrong working relationships with the Practice Plus Group healthcare team andthe wider prison service.
