The very first steps into education matter.
We are looking for a caring, attentive, and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our team working with our youngest children our 2 year olds within our Early Years setting in Bishop Auckland.
This is a special role. At two, children are finding their voices, building trust, and beginning to explore the world around them. We’re looking for someone who understands just how important those early moments are.

* Is warm, patient, and responsive to children’s individual needs
* Understands the importance of attachment, routine, and a nurturing environment
* Can support early communication, language, and personal development
* Is confident observing children and contributing to their learning journeys
* Enjoys getting involved in play—whether that’s storytelling, messy play, or outdoor exploration
In this role, you will:
* Support children as they settle into their first experience of a structured setting
* Help create a safe, stimulating, and language-rich environment
* Build strong relationships with children and their families
* Work as part of a team to plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning opportunities
* Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development
In return, we offer:
* A welcoming and supportive Early Years team
* A well-resourced environment designed for our youngest learners
* Opportunities for professional development
* The chance to make a lasting difference at the very start of a child’s education
