We require a motivated nursing auxiliary with a genuine interest in caring for the older person to join our team. Ward 43 is a busy medical assessment unit with a commitment to multidisciplinary team working. We specialise in caring for patients with delirium, dementia and frailty.
Responsibilities and Requirements
1. Ability to work using your own initiative and actively develop clinical skills such as Venepuncture, TPR, and BP.
2. Experience in medicine for the elderly is desirable.
3. Good communication skills are essential.
4. Hours will be flexible to meet service needs, including rotation to night duty.
5. Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is required prior to appointment.
