As Solutions Design Manager you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge transport and warehouse solutions that deliver tangible value, efficiency, and sustainability for our diverse portfolio of clients.
As part of your key responsibilities you’ll:
• Analyse customer requirements and operational data to design robust, cost-effective, and innovative transport and distribution solutions. This includes network modelling, fleet optimisation, and the integration of new technologies.
• Utilise your strong analytical skills to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and model various scenarios to inform your proposed solutions.
• Develop detailed cost models and compelling commercial proposals for new and existing clients, ensuring solutions are financially viable and deliver a strong return on investment.
• Work closely with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including business development teams, operations managers, and clients, to understand their needs and ensure the successful implementation of your designs.
• Proactively identify opportunities to optimise existing operations, drive efficiencies, and enhance service levels in line with the principles of "The Unipart Way."
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in transport and warehouse to ensure Unipart remains at the forefront of the industry.
• Provide expert support throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to implementation and post-launch review.
About You

• Strong understanding and experience with Logistics & Supply Chain operations and considered an SME in Transport operations
• Committed to self-development and team development
• 3PL experience advantageous

• A problem-solving mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
