Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Team Member. In this role, you will be responsible for various aspects of food preparation and service, ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dishes to our customers while adhering to food safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Assist in meal preparation and cooking, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
* Support the team with food preparation
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, including washing dishes and sanitising work areas.
* Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
* Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
* Participate in inventory management, including receiving deliveries and storing food items properly.
* Provide excellent customer service by serving meals with a friendly attitude.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
* Sushi experience preferred but not essential.
* Strong culinary skills with a passion for cooking and meal preparation.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required and to work at the other site in Leighton Buzzard if required to cover sickness.

Pay: £12.21-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 37 per week
