Role location Based out of our brand-new Oxford office with opportunities to shape a regional hub and lead projects spanning several years.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, develop, and provide project management services, including technical advice, and pre- and post-contract project management services.
* Lead delivery on complex multi-phase schemes (e.g., 3,000+ homes, highways, utilities, schools, and community facilities).
* Oversee contract administration, programme management, cost control, risk and change management.
* Manage utilities coordination and approvals (water, gas, electricity, communications).
* Administer Section 106 and Section 278 obligations and statutory approvals with local authorities.
* Coordinate contractors, consultants, and utility providers with clear scopes and milestones.
* Produce structured client reporting, including weekly/monthly updates, risk registers, and programme forecasts.
* Maintain programme control, quality assurance, and site safety.
Candidate Profile
* Contractor or civil-delivery background in infrastructure, highways, or utilities strongly preferred.
* Civil engineering qualification or equivalent practical experience desirable.
* Proven track record on large-scale residential regeneration or infrastructure projects.
* Strong knowledge of utilities delivery, statutory interfaces, and approval processes.
* Experience with programme management tools (e.g., Asta Primavera or MS Project).
* Experience with NEC ICC or JCT contract administration.
* Excellent communicator able to work with clients' consultants, contractors, and political stakeholders.
* Ambitious, proactive, and ready to help build a new office presence.
