Overview
Autumn 2026 intake for the ELEVATE degree apprenticeship programme. Applications are open for Ridge, a Built Environment Consultancy. You will have a permanent contract and salary while working towards a funded degree. Your first two years follow a structured programme combining education, hands-on experience and professional development.
What’s the opportunity?
From 14 UK locations, opportunities include Building Services Engineering, Project Management, Cost Management / Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Civil and Structural Engineering, Town and Country Planning and Digital Engineering (BIM).
Ridge emphasizes hands-on learning with real-life projects, mentorship, and close collaboration with colleagues, clients and sub-contractors. You’ll contribute to challenging client problems while studying, without incurring student debts.
Your start is scheduled after successful assessments, with offers in March 2026 for a start in the Autumn.

* I meet the educational entry criteria set by the apprenticeship provider. See the table below for further information for each discipline.
* I will be 18+ when my apprenticeship starts in September 2026.
* I’m able to start work full time from 7 September 2026.
* I have a permanent Right to Work in the UK and do not need visa sponsorship.
* I am willing and able to regularly attend my home office in person and travel to a training provider on a weekly basis.
* I am curious and eager to learn.
* I am passionate about the Built Environment and believe in its role in communities and society.
Entry Requirements For Apprenticeships In Our Core Disciplines
Discipline-specific entry requirements are listed below. Note: requirements may include A Levels, BTEC, or other qualifications, and GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent.
* Building Services Design Engineer
A Levels BBB (Maths required; Chemistry or Physics preferred) or
BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma DDM in Engineering (Maths and Further Maths at merit or above) or
Building Services Engineering Technician Level 3 apprenticeship with grade Pass or Distinction at EPA
5 GCSEs C/4 including Maths and English or equivalent
* Building Surveying
A Levels BCC (any subjects) or Advanced Apprenticeship in Surveying or Construction Technical with a Construction and Built Environment Diploma (minimum DD) or an Extended Diploma with minimum MMM
5 GCSEs C/4 including Maths and English or equivalent
* Cost Management / Quantity Surveying
A Levels BCC (any subjects) and 5 GCSEs C/4 including Maths and English or equivalent
* Digital Engineering (BIM)
A Level 4 course (BB) before progressing to Level 6 degree apprenticeship; Level 4: A Levels BB (any subjects) or BTEC National Diploma MMP and 5 GCSEs C/4 including Maths and English or equivalent
* Project Management
A Levels BCC (any subjects) or Advanced Apprenticeship in Surveying/Construction Technical with diploma/extended diploma (minimum DD or MMM) and 5 GCSEs C/4 including Maths and English or equivalent
* Civil and Structural Engineering
A Level BBB (Maths and a Science such as Chemistry or Physics) or BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma DDM in Engineering with minimum merit in Maths and Further Maths or Civil Engineering Technician Level 3 apprenticeship with EPA grade Pass/Distinction
5 GCSEs C/4 including Maths and English or equivalent
* Town and Country Planning
A Level BBC (any subjects) or equivalent Level 3 qualifications worth 112 UCAS points or Level 3 Planning Technician Apprenticeship
5 GCSEs C/4 including Maths and English or equivalent
