Band 7 – Main area: District Nurse Specialist Practitioner Clinical Lead. Contract: Secondment of 6 months. Hours: 37.5 hours per week (shift patterns may include some evenings and weekends).
Site: North Kerrier Community Nursing Team, Camborne. Salary: £47,810 - £54,710 Pro Rata. Salary period: Yearly. Closing: 30/09/2025 23:59.
Responsibilities
* Monitor the quality of care provision and identify and lead on areas of service development.
* Provide clinical leadership for all patients within the community nursing caseload, working within an integrated team.
* Ensure all members of the nursing team deliver the highest standard of evidence-based clinical care and liaise with other health and social care professionals.

Requirements
Education and Qualifications (Essential)
* Registered Nurse
* Relevant post-registration qualification - District Nursing specialist practitioner or working towards
* Independent non-medical prescribing qualification or equivalent or working towards
Experience and Skills (Essential)
* Previous experience in a community nursing team
* Strong clinical expertise in all aspects of community nursing care
* Advanced assessment, planning, treatment and evaluation skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication, including handling challenging or sensitive situations

* Leadership experience and change/project implementation
