As a Supply Teacher, you will be working in a classroom teaching children in the absence of their original teacher. You will have the responsibility of teaching the class. You will also be observing behaviour and ensuring all children are following the behavioural policy and any other issues to be reported back to the teacher - any safeguarding issues please report to the on-duty DSL.
You may be supporting different schools on a day-to-day, ad hoc basis or, and if this is your preferred choice, you will be working at the same school on a long-term basis, either full-time or part-time. Remember working on supply is completely flexible and can work around your other commitments.
