Postperson with Driving - Royal Mail
Location: Dartford Delivery Office, DA1 1AA
Job type: Permanent contract
Hours: 40 hours per week, 4 days across Wednesday – Saturday, shifts at 07:00 or 13:00 or 15:00 or 21:00. Some weekends required due to operational demand.
Overview: Join Royal Mail as a Postperson with Driving. You will deliver mail and parcels in the local community with a focus on reliability and customer service.

* Happy walking for long periods and working outside in any weather
* Has a strong sense of community and takes pride in what you do
* Has a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

* A guaranteed hourly rate of £14.87p/h (paid monthly and adjusted to your working hours)
* Paid overtime with an enhanced rate of x1.25 for any hours over 40 per week
* 22.5 days holiday, rising with length of service (adjusted to your hours if below 40 per week) and option to buy extra leave each year

Please note: Roles offering 35–40 hours per week are listed as full-time; any role under 40 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the contract.
