Role Overview
As our Learning & Development Advisor – UK & Ireland, you will be responsible for delivering and coordinating employee training programmes, onboarding sessions, and service excellence initiatives.
This role plays a key part in shaping the talent and skills of our teams, directly contributing to POP MART’s growth and outstanding customer experience across the UK & Ireland. You will work closely with the Regional L&D team, Store Managers, HR, and Operations to embed a strong learning culture at every level of the business.
We’re looking for someone proactive, adaptable, and passionate about helping others grow. You’ll thrive in a dynamic, creative environment and bring strong communication and organisational skills to support learning across a multi-site retail network.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Onboarding
* Deliver induction and onboarding training for new joiners across stores and office
* Coordinate and deliver learning sessions covering customer service, product knowledge, and sales practices
* Adapt regional training content to reflect local needs, regulations, and language
* Maintain training records and gather feedback to drive improvements
Customer Experience & Service Standards
* Support initiatives that enhance the in-store customer journey and employee engagement
* Coach store teams on communication, upselling, and issue resolution techniques
* Monitor service behaviours and partner with Store Managers to drive improvements
Learning Operations
* Help local teams navigate global e-learning systems and materials
* Organise learning calendars, training logistics, and trainer scheduling
* Track completion and impact of key training programmes and share insights with the regional team
Requirements
* 3–5 years’ experience in L&D or retail training, ideally in a fast-paced customer-facing environment
* Experience delivering training sessions and adapting content for different audiences
* Passion for retail, team development, and customer experience
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Proactive, people-focused, and able to build strong relationships at all levels
* Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure
* Familiarity with LMS or training platforms is a plus
* Ability to travel between locations in the UK and Ireland as needed
Desirable but Not Essential
* Background in lifestyle, fashion, or pop culture retail
* Understanding of store operations and service KPIs
* Experience working in a multi-site retail environment
* Additional language skills
