JOB TITLE: Manufacturing / Quality Operator
LOCATION: Telford – Hortonwood
HOURS: 6-2, 2-10, 10-6. 5 days a week rotating shifts
Job Purpose:
The Manufacturing / Quality Operator will be responsible for the quality inspection and packing of laminated (foiled) products as assigned by the Shift Co-ordinator.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Conduct quality checks and inspections on assigned products according to the quality plan.
2. Segregate non-conforming products from good production.
3. Communicate relevant information through appropriate channels.
4. Record inspection and checking data as per company procedures.
5. Alert relevant personnel to process or product issues.
6. Complete training and development as required by the Shift Co-ordinator and training plan.
7. Safeguard company property.
8. Perform visual quality inspections as per the quality plan and procedures.
9. Carry out specific quality checks/tests as required.
10. Pack laminated products according to the packing specifications on the production schedule.
11. Maintain a clean and tidy workplace, following housekeeping procedures.
12. Share knowledge and skills with team members.
13. Perform additional duties as required.
14. Adhere to organisational policies, management systems, and legal responsibilities related to health, safety, environment, and quality.
15. Foster positive working relationships with colleagues and contractors.
16. Represent the organisation positively to protect its image.
