Overview
A locum consultant in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery fellowship trained in hip and knee surgery is required to cover the substantial workload in trauma and elective arthroplasty waiting lists at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust for an initial fixed period of 12 months.
Responsibilities
* Cover the waiting list backlog for outpatients, day cases and inpatients in hip and knee arthroplasty surgery.
* Participate in the acute trauma theatre rota and be competent in the primary management of all areas of acute trauma.
* Collaborate with junior doctors, secretarial support and other consultants in the Trust on an equitable basis.
Qualifications
* Fellowship trained in hip and knee surgery.
* Full GMC licence to practise.
