Role Overview:
As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to provide valuable classroom support, assist with learning activities, and help children reach their full potential. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years and primary education.
Responsibilities as a Primary Teaching Assistant:
* Support children’s learning across all subjects in Key Stages.
* Deliver small group or one-to-one interventions when required.
* Assist with classroom organisation and lesson preparation.
* Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement.
* Provide feedback to teachers regarding pupil progress and development.
Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant:
* Prior experience working with children in a school or educational setting is preferred.
* A nurturing, patient, and proactive approach.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years with explanations for any employment gap.
