Role details
* Position: Healthcare Support Worker (Additional Support for Learning Schools)
* Band: 3
* Type: Permanent, 18 hours per week, term time, pro rata
* Hours: Worked over 3 days per week (days negotiable)
Responsibilities
* Provide an accessible, appropriate, culturally sensitive, safe, person-centred and effective service for children, young people and families in the community.
* Work in partnership with service users, care providers and other agencies.
* Support learning and development needs within Specialist Children Services settings.
Qualifications and requirements
* Driving licence is essential.
* Previous experience with Children and Young People in a community setting is desirable but not essential.
* Excellent communication skills and a working knowledge of IT (e.g., Word) are essential.
* SVQ Level III desirable in a relevant setting.
