Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar Manager to lead our bar team and ensure exceptional service in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and beverage service, complemented by excellent leadership and team management skills. This role requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to health and safety regulations.
* Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to meet demand.
* Supervise and train bar staff, fostering a positive team environment while promoting professional development.
* Develop and implement innovative drink menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
* Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations during food production and service.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation for bar snacks or meals.
* Monitor customer satisfaction, addressing any issues promptly to enhance the guest experience.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a bar management role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
* Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills.
* Background in culinary arts or restaurant experience is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
* Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on motivating staff to achieve high performance.
* Experience in food production and kitchen operations is advantageous.
* Previous experience as a barista or in hotel settings will be considered an asset.
