:
1. Offer specialized field service assistance for our medical equipment, concentrating on IVD.
2. Successfully implement solving solutions to resolve technical issues.
3. Maintain excellent customer-facing and interpersonal skills to deliver outstanding service.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve and meet customer needs closely and efficiently.
5. Accurately and promptly complete service reports in the CRM system and return them to customers.
6. Provide remote and on-site support for customers and colleagues outside the territory with manager approval.
7. Maintain accurate records of spare parts and ensure proper use.
8. Support laboratory sales colleagues in developing business opportunities.
9. Update systems at customer laboratories, including software and remote diagnostic connections.
10. Provide information to global product teams on instrument reliability and quality.
11. Adhere to quality, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
12. Participate in service and commercial meetings.
13. Supply to training material, support literature, and technical mentorship for customers.
14. Maintain awareness of ISO9001 & ISO13485 standards.
15. Maintain product knowledge to support customer success and share expertise.
16. Work diligently towards achieving goals and improving customer allegiance.
Your Qualifications:
17. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer in the medical device industry.
18. Strong background in Vitro Diagnostics (IVD).
19. Experience in a scientific or engineering-related field (, clinical/research laboratories, electronics, biotechnology, medical devices, engineering).
20. Strong technical capability and confirmed problem-solving skills.
21. Customer-focused with strong communication skills and the ability to establish relationships with customers.
22. Can-do attitude with the ability to balance multiple tasks with challenging priorities.
23. Proficiency in English – both written and verbal.
24. Ready to extensively travel throughout the South-west of England and South of Wales.
25. Valid Driving License.
