This role is ideal for someone who has 1–2 years’ independent working experience in quantity surveying, estimating or commercial support. Perfect for someone with a degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline, who is now looking to take the next step in their career and grow within a busy, hands-on commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clear, timely and accurate information, advice, and reports to senior management, clients, and stakeholders.
* Support senior team members in the day-to-day management and delivery of multiple projects.
* Actively manage deadlines and report progress to supervisors.
* Follow quality assurance processes and ensure standard documentation is used for external communications.
* Attend meetings, contribute, and produce accurate minutes.
* Carry out site visits and inspections as required.
* Work across multiple projects, managing a high volume of tasks simultaneously
* Assist with measurement, estimating, pricing, and liaising with suppliers.
* Prepare Bills of Quantities, Specifications, and Schedule of Rates.
* Compile tenders and quotations for works.
* Administer various forms of contracts during the construction period.
* Prepare and administer interim valuations, contractor claims, and settlement of final accounts.
* Maintain and update cost databases, financial records, and contemporary project records.
* Assist in the valuation of claims and variations.
* Support the preparation of financial reports in accordance with company requirements.
* Provide general support to Commercial and Contract Managers.
* Demonstrate effective project management skills and organisation across all tasks.

Who We’re Looking For:
* 1–2 years’ relevant experience
* Degree or qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Estimating
* Experience in groundworks, civils, or refurbishment projects is highly beneficial
* Strong measurement, costing, pricing, and supplier liaison skills
* Ability to handle high-volume, fast-turnaround quoting workload
* Organised, proactive, and confident communicator
