Position: Child Care Solicitor Salary: Negotiable Depending on Experience Location: Nottinghamshire Work Type: Permanent JOB DESCRIPTION The duties and responsibilities of this role will include: Provide expert advice to parents, other family members, interveners and children. You will work on a varied range of care work including Emergency and Police Protections orders, Care and Supervision orders, Special Guardianship Orders, Adoption orders and more. Oversee due diligence and make preparations for court such as court bundles. Develop the department by generating new business and provide guidance/supervision to other team members. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE The successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies: Qualified Solicitor with 3 years' PQE. Previous experience within child care (essential) and own advocacy (desirable). Strong communicator, verbally and non-verbally. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
