Monarch Education is working with a Nursery School in Northfield, Birmingham, to find a Level 3 Nursery Nurse experienced in supporting pupils with SEND. The role is Wednesday to Friday, 9 am - 3 pm, with personal care responsibilities. Applicants must hold at least a Level 3 Qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
Requirements of the Applicant
* Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Early Years
* Experience supporting children with SEND of EYFS age
* Knowledge of EYFS and SEND National Curriculums
* Understanding of various SEND conditions and their impact on learning & development
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to adapt support strategies to meet diverse needs
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to children with SEND in the setting
* Ensure inclusion of SEND pupils in all activities
* Support children in forest school activities
* Collaborate with the SENCO to implement and review IEPs
* Support social, emotional, and cognitive development
* Apply positive behaviour management techniques

Salary: £12.10 - £17 per hour (reviewed after 12 weeks)
