We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Test Engineer to join our engineering team. This role focuses on the in-house testing of control systems and Motor Control Centers (MCCs) used in the Water and Wastewater industry. You will be responsible for validating software developed offshore and ensuring integrated system performance meets project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
* Execute comprehensive testing of PLC/HMI/SCADA software integrated with MCCs and control systems for water and wastewater treatment applications.
* Review control system design specifications, P&IDs, and I/O lists to develop detailed test plans and procedures.
* Perform Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), simulating field conditions and validating system operation against functional requirements.
* Identify and document bugs, discrepancies, and issues; collaborate with offshore developers to resolve and re-test fixes.
* Conduct risk assessments of software changes and their impact on system functionality.
* Participate in design reviews and contribute to process improvements.
* Maintain accurate test documentation, including logs and reports.
* Collaborate with project engineers, automation specialists, and system integrators to ensure successful delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Control Systems, or related field.
* 3+ years of experience in testing or commissioning control systems, preferably in water or utility sectors.
* Strong knowledge of PLCs, SCADA/HMI, and MCC functionality.
* Experience with Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or Schneider platforms is advantageous.
* Ability to read electrical schematics, control logic, and diagrams.
* Knowledge of structured testing processes, defect tracking, and regression testing.
* Excellent communication skills for effective interface with local and offshore teams.
* Detail-oriented with problem-solving skills and a quality-driven approach.
Desirable Skills
* Experience with IEC 61131-3 programming environments.
* Knowledge of cybersecurity and networked control systems in OT environments.
* Understanding of water industry standards (e.g., WIMES).
