Fleet Category Lead – Garage Network (Procurement)
We have an exciting opportunity for a Fleet Category Lead – Garage Network to join our growing Procurement Team here at Holman UK. This role can be based at our HQ in Chippenham or our Birmingham Office (near NEC), with hybrid working (3 set days per week in the office, Tuesday - Thursday), following an initial training period. This is a permanent position, and we are looking to pay £40,000-£50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage relationships with the SMR garage network in line with current corporate strategy to drive continual improvement in supplier performance and network utilisation
* Manage key SMR supplier contracts, invoices and documentation for compliance with existing agreements (KPIs, SLAs, price)
* Support the implementation of new customer mobilisations by sourcing additional suppliers and service lines as required
* Support the development of our Garage network approach including our offer, rewards and network community
* Work closely with the network to ensure we receive contractual revenues/rebates from suppliers
* Work with suppliers to reduce contract administration burden across internal teams and improve supplier governance
* Understand internal/external customer’s needs and investigate potential with current and new suppliers
* Lead and implement changes to supplier processes and communicate both internally/externally
* Create detailed reporting packs for the garage network that help support continuous improvement and network alignment
* Monitor supplier performance and work with fleet engineers to investigate supplier complaints to ensure a satisfactory resolution for all parties; complete root cause analysis and put action plans in place to reduce repeat complaints
* Identify how suppliers affect the company across all business lines and how changes in the relationship may impact other areas of the business
Qualifications
* An education to Degree level in Business, and/or Finance (preferred), or CIPS qualification (or working toward)
* Experience in working in a fleet management environment or experience managing large supplier panels (desirable)
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
* Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work effectively independently and as a team member
* Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
