We are looking for an experienced Social Worker to join our Adoption Support Team. The role involves supporting families affected by adoption across Lancashire and Blackpool, including birth families and adopted adults. Responsibilities include delivering training workshops, social events, one-to-one support to children and families, and supporting adopted adults in understanding their early life history. The role also involves hosting peer groups, developing a peer buddying and mentoring offer, and co-delivering workshops for our therapeutic service.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
* Registered (SWE) as a Social Worker or applied to register with the Social Care Council.
* Will be required to provide a car for use in connection with the duties of the post and must be insured for business use (consideration may be given to those unable to drive due to disability).
* Coverage by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013).
* Required to apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a "disclosure" if successful.
