Gap Personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for an Engine Fitter on a permanent basis for our client based in Telford.HoursMonday - Friday 8am - 4:30pmSalaryNegotiable dependent on experienceDescription and key responsibilities as an Engine Fitter:Assess and strip down products in accordance with client's work instructionsFollow all government specific requirements (e.g. component traceability, strip & survey reports)Evaluate components and identify whether they are fit for purposeRecord additional BOM requirements and complete accurate job documentationRebuild and test products to OE or AESP specificationReport faults and follow guidance from the Workshop SupervisorMaintain high quality workmanship while working efficientlyEnsure full adherence to company health & safety, quality and operating proceduresRecord job activities accurately on our E10 system dailyDesirable Skills and Experience as an Engine Fitter:Previous experience in a similar engine fitting, mechanical or remanufacturing roleStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailGood communication skills (both verbal and written)Competent in MS Office (particularly Excel), or willing to trainStrong organisational skills and ability to work under pressurePositive attitude and willingness to learnWhat we give you:Continuous recruitment supportGuidance on CV and interview skillsIf you are interested in applying for this vacancy of an Engine Fitter please email your CV to Tara.Oreilly@gap-personnel.comIf this role is permanent, gap personnel is operating as the employment agency.
