Overview
Maintenance Engineer - Electrically biased. You’ll work as part of a team to ensure all equipment and services are maintained safely and function correctly. You’ll contribute to KPIs by ensuring planned maintenance is carried out on schedule, prioritising Statutory and Mandatory tasks, and completing reactive tasks according to priority.
Responsibilities
* Carry out planned maintenance in line with schedules and contract requirements
* Prioritise Statutory and Mandatory tasks
* Complete reactive tasks according to priority and safety standards
* Carry out electrical installation and repair work to maintain site operations
* Keep accurate records of work using IT systems
* Follow the PPE and uniform requirements provided
Qualifications / Skills
* City and Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2 qualification or equivalent
* 2391 Inspection and testing
* IEE 18th Edition Regulations (ideal)
Equivalent mechanical qualifications would also be sufficient with the correct level of experience.
Experience and Clearances
Previous experience in a critical environment (e.g., data centre) would be an advantage. You must have experience with electrical installation and repair work and be able to carry out all maintenance and installation requirements as required by the contract, making use of the uniform and PPE provided. IT experience is necessary for recording work accurately. You must fully understand statutory compliance. You must be available to join a call-out rota and hold UK citizenship. You will have to complete SC and DV clearance.
