Person specification
Essential criteria
* RNLD/ RNMH and current UK NMC registration. Evidence of post-qualification training/experience up to degree level. Masters Degree in relevant subject or equivalent experience.
* Knowledge of legislative and policy frameworks governing work with relevant service user groups. Knowledge of health and social care issues affecting learning.
* Experience in clinically supervising Nurses at Band 6/7 and below, including conducting appraisals and personal development planning.
* Previous experience of working in a leadership/management role.
* Experience of service improvements and service development planning.
Desirable criteria
* Ability to communicate effectively across organisations and disciplines.
* Understanding of clinical governance and its application to community nursing.
Additional essential criteria
* Ability to manage activity targets and data analysis.
