Reporting into the Area Manager, the Pharmacy Practice Manager role is a hybrid of patient care and commercial focus that requires a strong leader with a passion for Healthcare, patients and driving a profitable business.
Responsibilities
* Leading, coaching and developing the pharmacy team to deliver excellent patient experience and achieve exceptional levels of patient safety.
* Managing the store Pharmacist and Pharmacy Colleagues, supporting the drive to make Asda Pharmacy best‑in‑class.
* Delivering all Pharmacy‑related targets and deadlines, ensuring compliance with GPhC operating standards and clinical governance.
Qualifications
* Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC, accredited to deliver national and local services for the NHS and private healthcare.
* Experience balancing the role of line manager and pharmacist to deliver a safe working environment.
* Proven ability to inspire, motivate and challenge team members to achieve defined KRAs.
* Experience resolving difficult situations and maintaining solid connections with store and field teams.
Requirements
* Valid GPhC registration.
* Evidence of the right to work in the UK.
* Relevant safeguarding qualifications.
* Successful completion of a DBS check and enrolment in the live update service.

Shift Schedule (Week1)
Saturday 9am‑9pm, Sunday 9am‑9pm, Monday 9am‑9pm, Tuesday 9am‑9pm, Wednesday 9am‑9pm, Thursday 9am‑9pm, Friday 9am‑9pm. (Week2 follows a similar pattern.)
