The Role
An established international contractor is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to support the design and delivery of data centre projects across London and Europe.
This role will focus on developing end-to-end technical solutions for mission-critical environments, bridging the gap between client requirements, design, and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and present data centre solutions aligned to client requirements
* Translate technical and commercial needs into scalable, efficient designs
* Collaborate with engineering, construction, and delivery teams
* Support bid, tender, and pre-construction phases
* Review and validate M&E designs, layouts, and infrastructure strategies
* Engage directly with clients to define scope and provide technical guidance
* Ensure solutions meet performance, resilience, and compliance standards
* Support innovation and continuous improvement across projects
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or Design Lead within data centres
* Strong understanding of mission-critical infrastructure (power, cooling, resilience)
* Background in M&E, engineering, or technical design
* Experience supporting bids, tenders, or pre-sales environments
* Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders
* Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
