The Role
We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our People team. Reporting to the Head of People, you will play a central role in delivering our People strategy by providing high‑quality, pragmatic and collaborative generalist HR support across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of a world‑class event, working with passionate professionals and visionary leaders.
Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of key HR solutions including full‑cycle recruitment, onboarding, performance management, people development, employee engagement and mobilisation of the Games‑time workforce.
* Act as a business partner with assigned functional areas, providing confidential and effective coaching and advice to line managers.
* Ensure a deep understanding of functional areas’ strategy and embed ED&I in all activities.
* Support the transition of staff into Games‑time roles and provide guidance as colleagues leave the Organising Company post‑Games.
Key Skills and Experience
* Experience in a similar HR role and a CIPD Associate‑level qualification.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build trust with employees, managers and external partners at all levels.
* Passion for equality, diversity and inclusion and commitment to promoting a diverse and inclusive environment.
* Attention to detail, proactive and solutions‑focused mindset, and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
* Strong capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
* Flexibility and adaptability, with willingness to evolve responsibilities throughout the lifecycle of the Organising Company.
