Job Description
We have an opportunity for driven and ambitious students looking to gain practical experience in our Electrical & Plant team based in our Altrincham and/or Manchester office.
Our industrial placement opportunities are for 10 to 12 months and are carried out during a year out from university, or after completing a bachelor's, and before enrolling onto a postgraduate course.
As a member of our Electrical & Plant Team, you will be involved in delivering consultancy and design services on a wide range of diverse UK projects. This provides a unique chance for you to engage in projects that align with your academic interests and career goals.
You’ll be working with graduates, experienced professionals, and other students, making this placement a perfect opportunity to learn from a variety of people while understanding our values and culture. It’s also a great chance to get involved with real projects and gain relevant experience.
We do not have a formal structure for our placement programmes, so you can truly make the role your own. The more you get involved and ask questions, the more you will gain from your experience with us.
The work will involve designing low voltage electrical systems for railway projects, across various project sizes, throughout the project lifecycle from feasibility studies to detailed design. You will contribute to developing designs and specifications, working closely with an experienced team to guide you.
