Livestock & Commodities Buyer / Analyst

We’re looking for a Livestock & Commodities Buyer / Analyst to deliver market insights and analysis that support smarter procurement, pricing, and commercial decisions across the business.
This is a highly analytical role, combining market intelligence, forecasting, and data‑driven decision support in a fast‑moving, global environment.
What You’ll Do
* Analyse commodity markets and livestock trends (pricing, supply & demand, market drivers)
* Deliver forward‑looking insights to support procurement and pricing decisions
* Build forecasts for feed ingredients and livestock supply
* Support risk and price exposure analysis across commodity portfolios
* Develop and automate reporting on pricing, positions and performance
* Work cross‑functionally with Procurement, Finance and Supply Chain
* Drive improvements in data quality, reporting and process efficiency
What You’ll Bring
* Degree in Agriculture, Economics, Data Science or similar
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into clear insights
* Advanced Excel skills (experience with Power BI, Python or Snowflake a plus)
* Understanding of commodity markets and/or livestock industry (desirable)
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Proactive, organised and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
