Overview
Mental Health Floating Support Worker – 37.5 hours per week, £24,043.50 - £24,843.00 per annum, full-time. Location: Hightown, Bournemouth, England, United Kingdom.
We are looking for a motivated, positive and organised person to join our Mental Health Floating Support Team in Bournemouth. We value equality, the dignity and respect of every individual, and operate within a Psychologically Informed Framework.
Responsibilities
* Act as a key Support Worker for a number of customers, carrying out regular one-to-one sessions and building positive, trusting, and respectful relationships to help clients achieve their goals and move toward independent living.
* Provide tenancy support, information and advice to enable individuals to take control and lead independent, fulfilled lives.
* Assist with access to health care, maximising income, budgeting, debt management, and signposting to other services.
* Support the aim to reduce and/or prevent homelessness.
* Work 37.5 hours per week between 9:00 and 17:00, Monday to Friday.

* Be an excellent communicator with good listening and questioning skills.
* Be organised with good administration, IT and writing skills.
* Be resilient, confident, calm and practical.
* Be flexible, adaptable, proactive, empathic and non-judgemental.
* Able to network and build effective working relationships with colleagues, external agencies and service providers.
* Have a positive attitude and be solution-focused to achieve the best outcomes.
* Be self-motivated, able to use your initiative and be a great team player.
* Meet with individuals to carry out strengths-based needs assessments and develop support plans to maintain or build on existing skills.
* Have an understanding of safeguarding.
* Meet with other services and professionals to develop a joined-up holistic service.
* Driver with access to own vehicle.
