FMCG – Food

📍 Hybrid – 3 days connected – Near Slough

£65,000 - £70,000 + car allowance + bonus

The opportunity:


A well known FMCG company is seeking a Senior National Account Manager on a major Grocery account and you will have a direct report.

We're looking for a results-driven sales leader to take full ownership of a key retail account in one of the most dynamic and competitive categories out there.

What You'll Be Responsible For:


* Own and deliver annual Net Sales and Profit targets, while executing a clear commercial strategy to support growth goals.
* Develop and lead account plans that win — from pricing and promotions to distribution and in-store execution.
* Coach and grow a high-potential National Account Manager, supporting their development and unlocking their performance.
* Partner with the Grocer to deliver customer-focused growth plans, working cross-functionally with Commercial Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Demand Planning.
* Lead the internal customer agenda, inspiring teams with insights and strategic thinking to ensure everyone is aligned and driving in the same direction.
* Take control of the numbers, with strong forecasting, pricing, and full P&L ownership.


What We're Looking For:


* A track record of smashing sales targets and delivering profitable growth in a branded FMCG environment.
* Someone who knows how to own the customer relationship — from planning and pitch to negotiation and in-market execution.
* A strong commercial thinker who’s confident managing margin, price, and promotional mechanics.
* A natural leader and influencer, able to align internal and external stakeholders behind a clear plan.
* Top-tier selling, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the confidence to operate at pace and at scale.
