ClickSend is seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead the design of scalable, high-performance microservices and cloud-native solutions. You will collaborate with engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders to drive technical excellence, modernize our platform, and shape our tech strategy.
Key responsibilities :
1. Architect & Design : Drive the development of scalable, resilient microservices and distributed systems across our teams.
2. Cloud & Infrastructure : Collaborate deeply with engineering teams to optimize AWS-based cloud-native solutions for security, efficiency, and reliability.
3. Technical Leadership : Set best practices for architecture, coding standards, and DevOps.
4. Engineering Impact : Lead system-wide architecture decisions to foster innovation and speed.
5. Mentorship & Coaching : Empower and grow engineers to take ownership of their architecture and designs.
6. Collaboration : Align technical direction with business goals across teams.
To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and attributes :
1. Proven experience in software architecture and development.
2. Expertise in NodeJS and PHP.
3. Strong background in microservices and event-driven architecture.
4. Deep knowledge of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).
5. Hands-on approach—enjoy coding and debugging.
6. Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code.
7. Strong system design skills balancing performance, scalability, and maintainability.
