Daisychain Benevolent Fund is looking to recruit a fun loving, charity orientated, professional and hardworking Shop Manager for our specialist bookshop - 24 hours per week - Monday to Saturday for the bookshop
(A two week rota is operated which also includes Saturday working )
If you have the knowledge about a wide range of books, are interested and eager to help raise vital funds for local Children's Hospital Wards and Teenage Cancer Trust then this could be your opportunity
This a temporary position due to long term sickness of a current staff member.
*Minimum 1 years supervisory retail experience, with evidence of experience and knowledge of a wide range of books.
*The role involves providing excellent customer care, stock preparation and productivity, recruiting, training and motivating Volunteers, paperwork, household duties, working to achieve targets, and all aspects of running the shop
You must have a flair for merchandising and window dressing, drive and passion for the role, be honest and reliable, have ambition to succeed and show how you can make a difference, with excellent customer service
