We’re always looking for ambitious, dedicated, and problem-solving individuals to join us in providing game-changing solutions for our clients.Job Purpose: The purpose of this role is to actively support the continued growth and success of SEKO Logistics through a commitment to achieving our strategic goals.Meeting and exceeding the client expectations and actively support theExport Department with the smooth running of key accounts and client development through a committed approach to customer service, pro-active communication and relationship building with all customers, suppliers, colleagues and overseas offices.Effective time management and commitment to looking for new opportunities for growth and development from our existing customer base.Teamwork is imperative and customer needs, are paramount.Key responsibilities:Proactively support all aspects of the Export Team by handling Key Accounts and the day to day requirements for clientsUnderstand and comply with Standard Operating Procedures set out in line with customer requirementsCustoms Procedures - Assist the team in ensuring correct customs procedures are being used and followedLiaise with agents / suppliers as necessaryManage Air / Road / Sea Export operations from start to finishAdopt good Commercial awarenessTimely and accurate invoicing and administrative tasksClear, effective communicationSkills and qualifications:Specialized knowledge – operational freight forwardingSkills – customer service / customer facing service skillsAbilities – computer literate, word, excel, outlook, well organizedKnowledge of UK Multimodal Export and customs proceduresHands on approach-positive attitudeAbility to think on your feetAbility to prioritize workloadsGood attention to detailTeam PlayerGood Geographical knowledgeDetails:Monday – Friday9am – 5:30pm37.5 hours per weekPermanentCompensation and benefits:Pension scheme (5% employee, 3% employer contributions)Referral schemeDeath in service (4x salary)Private healthcare after 6 months service25 days annual leave + bank holidays with an extra day after 5,8-, and 10-years’ serviceEmployee assistance programmeRetailer discounts
