Position Overview
As a Private Client Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in delivering expert legal advice and support to clients in matters related to wills, probate, tax and estates. You will manage a diverse caseload, build strong client relationships, and work collaboratively with the firm's successful private client team to ensure the highest standards of service and professionalism.
Responsibilities
* Develop and manage a caseload covering wills, probate, tax, estate matters
* Draft, review, and register wills and lasting powers of attorney
* Administer estates and handle probate work
* Assist with the appointment of deputies through the Court of Protection
* Manage elderly clients' financial affairs, including conducting client meetings
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing clear and practical legal advice
* Contribute to the growth and success of the private client team through effective teamwork and collaboration
Requirements
* Detailed knowledge and technical expertise in private client matters
* Proven ability to manage a complex caseload and deliver high-quality legal services
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
* Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
* Relevant legal qualifications and experience in private client law
