We have an exciting opportunity for would be Support Workers (Care Practitioners) to join our settled 3 bed home in Stourport on Severn.
There is a strong possibility that once you are trained you will move to our beautiful new 3 bed home in Worcester.
Our home in Stourport on Severn currently supports x 2 children with EBD and challenging behaviours with a 3rd joining us in the not too distant future.
The team will offer huge support and you will be encouraged to develop and progress.

Support Worker (Care Practitioners) requirements
Be caring and compassionate
Bring fun and laughter into the Home
Be there to support children through the good times and the tough times
Help children feel good about themselves and encourage them to try new things
Listen when children want to talk
Celebrate their achievements
Support young people towards independent living.
Assist is developing their self-belief and coping skills.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and family members in meeting children’s needs.
Support and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of all aspects in the home including cooking, cleaning and finances.
Ensuring that the needs of the young people are being met and reviewing and recording changes to those needs.
What experience or qualifications would be required for Residential Support Worker/Care Practitioner
Experience of supporting vulnerable young people within a residential care environment, or similar youth worker experience.(favourable )
You will be compassionate, resilient, committed to being a positive role model and confident in managing challenging behaviours.
Flexible and able to work a residential care rota which includes evening, weekends and holiday periods and sleep ins.
Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification (favourable); however training will be available.
Hold a valid UK driving licence.(essential)
Hourly rates £12.70 to £13.70 depending on experience and qualifications Sleeps £55 per night
Expected Hours per week 40
