About the Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a key part in helping pupils grow academically, socially, and personally. Working closely with teaching and support staff, you will help deliver a curriculum that is accessible, engaging, and tailored to each student. Your day-to-day role will involve a mix of one-to-one work, group support, and assisting with lesson preparation and delivery. Key Responsibilities Provide personalised support to pupils with SEND, helping them overcome barriers and achieve their targets. Assist teachers in delivering adapted lessons and learning activities that suit a wide range of needs. Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment. Encourage pupils to build self-confidence, independence, and positive social skills. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to monitor and review pupil progress. About You We’re looking for someone who is: Experienced: Previous experience working in a SEN or similar school environment is essential.
