Hours: 2100 - 0900
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off
Pay Rate: £16.35 per hour
Contract Type: Ongoing with Temp to Perm potential
About the Role:
We’re hiring Yard Shunters for a company in Milton Keynes. This is a hands-on, active role ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in transport or driving.
You’ll play a key role in keeping the yard running smoothly—moving vehicles, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring everything is ready for the road.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Move vehicles of various types around the yard
2. Offload empty trays from vehicles
3. Wash and refuel vehicles
4. Conduct basic vehicle checks
5. Maintain a clean and organised yard environment
What We’re Looking For:
6. Full UK driving licence (max 3 points)
7. Previous driving or vehicle handling experience
8. Physically fit and comfortable with walking and manual tasks
9. Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
