Salary: A GBP 42,855 (including shift allowance)
Location: Aberdare, South Wales, CF44
Permanent Role :: Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off
Day shifts: 06:00 : 18:00 (2 days)
Night shifts: 18:00 : 06:00 (2 nights)
Followed by: 4 days off
Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join a Manufacturing company based in Aberdare, South Wales.

Are you a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Technician looking for a role where your expertise truly matters? Youll be part of a small, dedicated team keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently.
What Youll Be Doing
* Maintaining and repairing plant and machinery to keep production moving.
* Diagnosing faults and implementing solutions across mechanical and electrical systems.
* Driving improvements through preventative maintenance and continuous improvement techniques.
* Working independently when needed, using your initiative to solve challenges.
What Were Looking For
* At least 5 years experience in a maintenance role within manufacturing.
* A recognised apprenticeship and ideally HNC:level qualification.
* Strong mechanical skills with electrical knowledge.
* Hands:on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, welding, and fabrication.
* Confidence in PLC fault:finding (GEM80, Allen Bradley, Siemens S7).
* Computer literacy and a proactive, problem:solving mindset.
