About the role
DP World is looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to drive quality governance, assurance, and continuous improvement across site operations.
In this role, you will ensure that customer quality requirements, corporate standards, and regulatory obligations are effectively translated into operational practice. You will work closely with site leadership and operational teams to strengthen process discipline, improve service performance, and embed a strong quality culture.

Key responsibilities
Quality leadership & governance
* Support the implementation of the site Quality strategy aligned with regional and global frameworks
* Ensure compliance with corporate policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards
* Provide guidance to site leadership to strengthen process ownership and discipline
* Promote a customer-focused quality culture
Quality assurance & risk management
* Implement and monitor quality controls across operations
* Support teams in identifying and mitigating quality risks
* Lead investigations into incidents and non-conformances, ensuring robust root cause analysis and closure of corrective actions
* Monitor quality KPIs and drive targeted improvement actions
Operational assurance & compliance
* Conduct audits, inspections, and compliance reviews
* Support maintenance of ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory compliance
* Maintain quality documentation, systems, and controls
* Support deployment of quality tools and digital platforms
Customer quality & continuous improvement
* Ensure customer requirements are clearly understood and implemented
* Monitor performance against SLAs and customer metrics
* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service quality
* Promote best practices and process standardisation
Capability building & stakeholder engagement
* Coach and support operational teams to strengthen quality ownership
* Deliver training and awareness initiatives
* Act as the main quality contact for the site
* Liaise with customers, auditors, and certification bodies as required

What we are looking for
Qualifications & experience
* Proven quality experience in logistics, manufacturing, or industrial operations
* Strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory/customer requirements
* Experience with non-conformance management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
* Recognised quality certification (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma, or equivalent)
* Ability to influence stakeholders and build cross-functional relationships
