We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Parking & Shop Mobility Services Attendant, delivering vital front-line services that support accessibility and improve the experience of our parking facilities.
In this varied and rewarding role, you will provide friendly and professional assistance to customers using both our parking and Shopmobility services. From responding to intercom and phone enquiries, to issuing mobility equipment and ensuring facilities are safe and operational, you will play a key part in making our services inclusive, welcoming, and efficient.
You will carry out essential day-to-day tasks such as assessing new Shopmobility customers, maintaining and demonstrating safe use of mobility equipment, monitoring site safety and cleanliness, and keeping accurate digital records. You will also support back-office processes including permit administration, equipment inventory, and usage reporting.
We are looking for someone with a strong sense of customer service, who is confident, approachable and able to work independently as well as part of a team. You will bring experience in a customer-facing role, ideally with knowledge of health & safety, data entry, or working with vulnerable individuals. A calm, solution-focused approach will help you manage a busy workload and provide a consistently high-quality service.
With the flexibility to relocate between sites, and a practical mindset, you¼ be comfortable operating in a hands-on environment. In return, we offer the chance to work in a supportive and collaborative team, with opportunities to further develop your skills through training and experience.
The successful candidate will need to complete an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) Check.

Hours: 21 Hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Salary: - £28,624 - £31,067 pro rata, per annum (City Pay Band 3)
Location: Predominantly at the Grand Arcade Car Park, but will need to move around the city.
