Platform Housing Group is a not-for-profit organisation that reinvests profits into building more homes and engaging with communities We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our growing team at Platform Housing Group. This role puts you at the heart of supporting customers in Shared Ownership — offering a rewarding mix of autonomy, impact, and purpose. You'll support customers through their home ownership journey from initial enquiry through to completion. You’ll work closely with colleagues in Development, Home Ownership, Legal, Marketing and Customer Experience to ensure a smooth and supportive customer journey. Although based from home, you’ll attend regular site visits across East Midlands, but focus for this role is to travel mainly to our developments in Peterborough, Newark and Nottinghamshire for handovers, and meeting customers on completion day. You will be required to attend quarterly team meetings and team days at Birmingham Business Park. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday–Friday with no weekend work About You You’ll have a proven background in property sales, ideally with experience in Shared Ownership or new build developments. You’re confident working independently, managing your own diary, and enjoy building relationships with customers and partners alike. You’ll recognise our duty of care to our customers and the importance of selling with integrity. You’ll have excellent networking skills with the ability to manage external stakeholders whilst liaising with internal stakeholders. You’ll also be able to manage conflicting demands with confidence whilst maintaining an organised approach to your day You’ll bring: Strong knowledge of the new build sales process, from reservation through to completion with the ability to sell off plan and be proactive at sales chasing. Experience working with mortgage brokers, solicitors, estate agents, and external contractors. A great understanding of the customer journey and how to support buyers with clear, timely communication. Computer literate with experience using Microsoft packages, including Excel, word and outlook. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own time and travel. A full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (mileage is fully reimbursed, including travel to site).
