1st & 2nd Line Support Engineers needed. Our Clent, a boutique Managed Service Provider supporting high-end hospitality businesses across Central London, is looking to add both a 1st Line Support Engineer and a 2nd Line Support Engineer to their expanding technical team.
These roles offer the chance to work closely with clients — primarily boutique hotels — through regular on-site visits, providing hands-on support and building strong professional relationships in a friendly, close-knit environment.
The Roles
1st Line Support Engineer
Ideal for someone proactive, personable, and confident being the first point of contact. You will provide day-to-day support across user issues, maintenance, and remote troubleshooting while delivering an excellent client experience.
2nd Line Support Engineer
Suited to a 1st Line Support Engineer or Junior 2nd Line - who has some solid technical depth and experience handling escalations. You will work on issues involving servers, networks, and infrastructure, as well as contributing to wider project-based work.
Key Responsibilities
1st Line
* Provide prompt on-site and remote support to clients
* Log, diagnose, and resolve a broad range of hardware/software issues
* Escalate advanced incidents to the 2nd line team while maintaining ticket ownership
* Carry out routine maintenance and support regular client visits
2nd Line
* Handle technical escalations from the 1st Line team
* Troubleshoot advanced issues across Windows Server, AD, DNS, DHCP, and virtual environments
* Perform patching, updates, and server/infrastructure maintenance
* Support project delivery such as deployments and system upgrades
