The Role
1. Selling radio airtime advertising, online, sponsorship, and promotional opportunities.
2. Selling to existing customers and some new business prospects.
3. Making warm and cold telemarketing calls to secure face-to-face or remote sales meetings.
4. Following a structured sales process: identifying business needs, creating, designing, and presenting tailored advertising solutions.
5. Managing, nurturing, and providing excellent customer service to encourage business growth.
6. Collaborating with a supportive team, developing creative pitches using the latest technology.
7. Utilizing strong case studies, presentation tools, metrics, and marketing information to ensure sales success.
The Candidate
* Passionate about selling innovative media ideas and working for a company that values creative media solutions.
* Experience in sales within any media sector (radio, outdoor, magazines, online, exhibitions, events, newspapers, etc.) is preferred.
* Consideration will be given to candidates with B2B sales experience.
* Proven success with documented results.
* Commercially aware, motivated, enthusiastic, with a strong work ethic.
* Driven to develop new business in a competitive market.
* Tenacious, ambitious, and able to present compelling sales arguments with excellent presentation skills.
* Creative, articulate, proactive, quick-thinking, with relationship-building skills.
* Capable of generating creative, innovative, and commercially viable ideas.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with negotiation abilities at all business levels.
