The Role
As Health and Safety Manager, you will own all aspects of HSE, ensuring compliance, leading audits and driving environmental and sustainability improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Health and Safety strategy and ensure compliance with PUWER, DSEAR, Working at Height and Fire Safety
* Act as the main contact for HSE and Fire Authorities
* As Health and Safety Manager, lead risk assessments, audits, incident investigations and RIDDOR reporting
* Support occupational health and health surveillance programmes
* Drive environmental performance, energy monitoring and sustainability initiatives
About You
* Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager within FMCG or manufacturing
* Experience in Environmental Management
* Strong knowledge of COSHH, PUWER and DSEAR
* NEBOSH Diploma with IOSH or IEMA preferred
* Experience with ISO45001 and ISO14001
* Confident influencing teams and working with regulators
* Flexible to support a 24 7 operation
* Full UK driving licence, sites are 1 mile apart
