What you'll do
As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, your responsibilities will include:
* Allocating incoming payments and reconciling customer accounts
* Updating the cashbook daily and performing bank reconciliations
* Preparing bank lodgements and direct debit files
* Issuing invoices, credit notes, and customer statements
* Monitoring and following up on outstanding customer balances
* Resolving discrepancies and reconciling customer accounts
* Maintaining records of all payment and credit communications
* Setting up new customers and maintaining the customer master file
* Assisting with month-end closing procedures
* Providing flexible support with other duties as required
About you
If you have previous experience working as an Accounts Assistant or Sales Ledger Assistant, and possess:
* Strong accounts administration experience
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* The ability to meet deadlines consistently
* A strong team-working ability
